We had the pleasure of being Charity of the Year at the 2019 Stockport Business Awards and we were there on Thursday evening (10th October) at the prestigious awards at the beautiful Stockport Town Hall. Nearly 400 people were in attendance at the black tie dinner to celebrate the success and achievements of the region’s finest in business.
TV presenter, Jenny Powell, hosted the awards for the third year running and did a fantastic job of keeping the excited crowd engaged for those all-important moments.
Our very own Becky Shorrock, Head of Fundraising gave a compelling speech about Supportability and the important work do to improve the lives of those with complex disabilities in and around Stockport. We’re delighted to announce that we raised £4,700 on the night! We’re absolutely overwhelmed by the support from the guests.
The Stockport Business Awards is an event organised by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants, with the aim of celebrating business excellence within the Stockport Borough and continue to grow the business community in the area.
