Day Services Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary: £30,121 per annum (rising to £32,705 on an incremental pay scale)

We are undertaking a development programme and are looking for a forward-thinking, creative manager that can support and facilitate staff teams and importantly those accessing the service to shape the future vision of the service.

You will direct the staff team and be accountable for the effective operation of the service, prioritising the quality of individual’s experiences to ensure an offer that reflects their wishes.  A key part of the role will also be to establish and maintain networking routes with key professionals such as Quality Teams, commissioners and social care providers to evolve and enhance our day service offer and utilise and share good practice. This role also involves working collaboratively as part of the Operational Management Team to ensure consistency and high quality service offers are delivered across the Charity.

Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the social care sector
  • Minimum of 2 years staff management experience
  • To hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this within the first 12 months of employment
  • Experience in change management / service development would be preferred but is not essential

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and a minimum of two satisfactory references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer. Please note the hours of work are to be worked flexibly across the week to meet the demands of the service and therefore may include evenings and weekends.
