Team Leader

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary: £11.11 - £11.81 per hour

****Up to £500 sign on bonus – £250 when you start and £250 when you complete your probation period ****

We are looking for 2 Team Leaders to join our Community service operating from our office based in Heaton Moor, Stockport from which we provide group based support for adults within the Stockport area. We are currently implementing an exciting development programme and hope to further expand to delivering groups for children and young people alongside our current 1-1 and adult group provisions.

Do you have what we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who will lead by example whilst being positive and proactive in supporting and overseeing service delivery to the adults and children that we support.  The role involves managing a small team of support workers and a number of service users through a key worker system. In addition to advising, guiding and supervising support workers, you will work as part of a team, facilitate staff meetings, support new members of staff through the Care Certificate, and participate in the updating of support plans and risk assessments so that our service user’s support is safe and focussed on their goals and needs, you will also deliver some of our groups as needed or provide hands-on support responding to service demand.

You will primarily work your hours Monday – Friday, however, to meet the needs of this service and the wider Charity, you will need to be flexible to cover shifts during evenings and weekends. You should have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle which can be insured for business use and be willing to drive Supportability vehicles as required.
