Reporting to the Deputy CEO, we’re looking for a Business Support Manager who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly and enjoys being the person others rely on. In this role, you’ll oversee our admin and marketing support functions, coordinate key systems and processes, manage day‑to‑day organisational data, and make sure the right information, resources and support reach the right people at the right time.
If you’re experienced in business support or project management, ready for a broader operational role, and confident using judgement, data and systems to support decision‑making at organisational level, this could be your next step.
About the Role
As our Business Support Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day operations across the organisation. You’ll provide line management to our Office Manager and Marketing & Events Administrator, supporting performance, development and clarity of priorities, while ensuring our business support, systems and admin functions run smoothly and efficiently.
Your work will include:
· Keep our key systems running smoothly by overseeing platforms such as Unique IQ, e‑Reception and SharePoint, ensuring staff have the access, information and tools they need to work efficiently.
· Be the main link between the organisation and our IT provider by coordinating equipment, licences, helpdesk queries and quarterly review meetings to keep our technology reliable and up to date.
· Maintain high‑quality organisational data by collecting, checking and interpreting information for board reports, service dashboards and organisational planning.
· Support oversight and coordination of marketing and events delivery by managing our Marketing & Events Administrator and helping them to coordinate materials, updates, website tasks and fundraising or community events.
· Keep our processes consistent and up to date by maintaining operational manuals, procedures and documentation so teams always have clear, accurate guidance.
· Provide cross organisational support by helping teams with ad hoc administrative tasks, small projects and operational requests to ensure smooth day to day running.
· Coordinate information for SLT to gather updates from across the charity to support reporting, planning and organisational oversight.
· This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can balance detail focused tasks with people focused leadership.
