We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Cheddle Lodge..

Cheddle Lodge is a warm, friendly and settled 13 bed home that provides person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities and autism and complex physical disabilities. It’s a calm and welcoming environment, where the home thrives on the strong, supportive relationships built between residents, staff, families and carers, creating a sense of stability, trust and genuine connection in daily life.

What we are looking for;

  • Understand and work to provide an excellent standard of person-centred care in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Can support daily routines to provide structure and stability for our residents and build meaningful relationships.
  • Promote independence and are committed to supporting our residents to receive an excellent standard of care and giving them the opportunity to live a full and active life.
  • Understand the needs of and a positive attitude towards people with disabilities.
  • Align to our values and share our passion for what we do and why we do it.
  • Are willing to work flexibly to cover shifts that will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (including basic IT skills)
  • Previous demonstratable experience in care.
