
Community Youth Groups
Our youth activity groups give children and young people with learning disabilities the chance to make friends, build confidence, stay active and, most importantly, have fun in a safe, supportive environment.
Led by our experienced and highly trained staff, every session is designed to encourage independence, develop new skills and create lasting memories. With a wide variety of activities on offer, there’s something to suit every interest and ability.
Saturday Community Youth Group (Ages 11–18)
Our Saturday Youth Group offers exciting opportunities for young people aged 11–18 to get out and about, try new activities and enjoy social experiences with their peers.
Activities include:
- Accessible cycling at Wythenshawe Park and Woodbank Park
- Golf at Trafford Centre
- Indoor bowling
- Outdoor archery
- Trampolining
- Visits to parks, museums and galleries
- Trips to local attractions, including farms and fire stations
- Visits to Manchester Airport Viewing Park
- Walks in local country parks
The group runs on alternate Saturdays from 9:15am – 3:45pm.

Saturday Children’s Group at The Hub (Ages 8–17)
Perfect for children aged 8–17, our indoor Saturday sessions are packed with creative, interactive and sensory activities in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
Activities include:
- Archery and garden games
- Arts and crafts
- Baking
- Group games
- Karaoke
- Music sessions
- Pizza making
- Sensory room experiences
Whether they’re getting creative, learning a new skill or simply spending time with friends, every session is designed to help children have fun, build confidence and enjoy being themselves.
Session Times
Our Saturday Indoor Children’s Group runs every Saturday with two sessions available:
- Morning Session: 10:00am – 1:30pm
- Afternoon Session: 2:00pm – 5:30pm
