All of our activity groups are designed to provide you with the opportunity to socialise, make new friends, have fun, keep active and stimulated, all in a safe environment with our skilled and trained staff. We offer a wide and varied range of activities, so whatever your interests, we’re sure we’ll have something for you to enjoy.
Our groups look a little different at the moment and are currently being held indoors at St Paul’s Church in Heaton Moor due to COVID-19 restrictions. As restrictions ease, we hope to reintroduce a wider range of community based activities.
You can have a fun day with us enjoying activities including art sessions, indoor archery, baking, table tennis competitions, pool and various ‘theme’ days such as beach days, all of which have proved to be fun and popular with our Service Users.
Our service also includes a home pick-up and drop off for our Service Users on certain days of the week.

Saturday Leisure Groups (currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions)
Our Saturday groups are very active and are a great way for you to stay fit whilst having fun with friends. These alternate each week offering a Walking Group and an Activity Group.
Saturday Walking Group
One of our most popular groups, we have a number of locations and walks which we can safely support you to take part in and enable you to enjoy the great outdoors. Our walks vary on toughness and distance so we decide on the day based on the consensus and abilities of the group as well of course as the weather!
Saturday Activity Group
Our activity group varies each week, offering you a wide range of activities to enjoy such as:
- Trips to the Chill Factore, the indoor ski slope
- Cycling at Wythenshawe Park or Wheelers
- Visits to the zoo
- Visits to Museums
- Indoor bowling
And, we often finish the day with a long walk in a lovely park.
